A Story of Silent Resistance
Located in a luxurious Renaissance palace, Glorious Summer follows the lives of three women whose every bodily whim is indulged—except for the privilege of departure. As they experience their gilded cage, they develop a particular “touch language” in an attempt to convey what can’t be spoken. As they seek an exit, they surreptitiously rehearse death rituals, believing that only in death will they gain ultimate freedom.

The movie has already been featured in industry hype, and world rights to sales were acquired by Alief. Alief co-partner Miguel Angel Govea commended Glorious Summer as being reminiscent of old-fashioned midnight movies with a retro-futuristic appeal.
