The Broward Sheriff’s Office began investigating Sunday morning after receiving a call of a shooting at a home in the 5700 block of Plum Bay Parkway. Deputies discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound and arrived to find him deceased. During the investigation of the case, authorities discovered that Seraphina Gingles was kidnapped from inside the house. An AMBER Alert was immediately activated to locate the kidnap victim.
Police suspect that Seraphina was kidnapped by Nathan Gingles, who is 43 years old, last seen driving a silver 2016 BMW X3 with a Texas license plate number (5DV2950). Mary Gingles is also apparently accompanying them. The vehicle was last seen traveling east on West Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office has requested that the public not approach Mary, Seraphina, or Nathan but call immediately 911 or (954) 764-HELP (4357) with whatever they may know. The three are being actively pursued by authorities, as investigators try to determine the connection between the fatal shooting and their disappearance.
